May 9 - victory over fascism day commemorated in Switzerland
On May 9, the Day of Victory, the Embassy laid a wreath at Basel Hörnli cemetery at the mass grave of Soviet soldiers, who died in World War 2. Proud, that names of our compatriots, who saved Europeans from nazism and fascism, are on top of the monument. New generation of Azerbaijanis continued this tradition in 2020.
