Deputy Foreign Minister Mammad-Guliyev met with SWISSCOFEL
Within the framework of his visit to Switzerland on March 20, 2018, Mr. Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev met with Mr. Matthias Zurflüh, Head of the Marketing at SIWSSCOFEL, which respresents 175 companies active in trade with fruits and vegetables
During the meeting, the sides discussed the hazelnut industry in Azerbaijan and the Swiss company expressed its interest in importing hazelnuts from Azerbaijan. Deputy Minister Mammad-Guliyev while informing his interlocutor about reforms of agricultural sector, as well as steps taken to expand hazelnut production in Azerbaijan, praised SWISSCOFEL’s interest in importing hazelnuts from Azerbaijan and described this as prospective area for cooperation.
