On December 12, a memorial ceremony was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Swiss Confederation to commemorate passing away of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The memory of the Great Leader was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Fuad Isgandarov provided information about the life and activities of Heydar Aliyev, emphasized that Heydar Aliyev, who returned to political power at the call of the people at a time when social welfare in Azerbaijan was in a terrible state, the economy was in decline, civil conflict, as well as war conditions with Armenians, restored stability and peace in the country.
It was noted that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was the founder of modern Azerbaijan, and his political course has successfully been continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
