Instrument of accession of Azerbaijan presented to OTIF

On 16 July 2015, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Swiss Confederation H.E. Mr. Akram Zeynalli presented the original instrument of accession of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail (COTIF) to the Secretary General of the Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail (OTIF) Mr. François Davenne.

The counterparts also shortly discussed the future cooperation between OTIF and Azerbaijan once the accession is completed in accordance with the rules of procedure of OTIF.

Mr. François Davenne also stated that he was looking forward to visiting Baku first time ever to attend the OTIF seminar to be held in the Azerbaijani capital in December 2015.
