Azerbaijani Jazz Week opened in Bern

On 29 November 2016, Azerbaijani Jazz Week opened in “Marians Jazz Room” of the unique jazz hotel Innere Enge in Bern co-organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan and Bern International Jazz Festival. Well-known Azerbaijani jazz musician Amina Figarova will perform during the week.

She will give two different concerts per night at 19.30 pm and 21.30 pm. Her performance in the opening evening was warmly welcome by the local audience who continuously applauded her. During the concert, the audience had also a chance to taste Azerbaijani cuisine and wines.

Moreover, various books, brochures and CDs on the Azerbaijani culture and tourism potential as well as “Ganja 2016 – European Youth Capital” were presented to the audience.

Amina Figarova will perform in Bern until 3 December giving two concerts per night, and she will give yet another concert in the Jazz room of the Widder Hotel in Zurich on 6 December.
