Ambassador Hanum Ibrahimova met with the Director General of the Universal Postal Union

On may 15, 2018, Ambassador Hanum Ibrahimova met with the UPU Director General Mr. Bishar Hussein.

Describing relations between UPU and Azerbaijan as excellent, Mr. Hussein emphasized that there were no problems in these relations. He characterized Azerbaijan’s membership at the 40-member UPU Postal Operations Council as a sign of respect towards Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Ibrahimova highlighted Azerbaijan’s appreciation of relations with the UPU and said that her country highly values UPU supported projects implemented in Azerbaijan. She also briefed her interlocutor about developments in the IT sector of Azerbaijan.
