Ambassador Hanum Ibrahimova met with the Delegate of the Federal Council for Trade Agreements Erwin Bollinger
On April 24, 2018, Ambassador Hanum Ibrahimova was hosted at SECO (State Secretariat of Economic Affairs) by Mr. Erwin Bollinger, Head of the Export Control and Sanctions, Co-Chair of the Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Swiss Federal Council.
During this meeting, ambassador gave information about implemented reforms and latest achievements of Azerbaijan in various spheres. She added that, Switzerland is one of the largest investors in the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan's economy. One of them is Holcim Azerbaijan, which is one of the largest and most successful companies operating in the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan.
The counterparts discussed issues related to the implementation of the Protocol of the 7thmeeting of the Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Swiss Federal Council. They also exchanged views on the next meeting of the Joint Commission.
